Host Broadcaster

The Host Broadcaster produces television coverage of the BRICS and SCO summits in Ufa with live streams on the internal TV network and shows events that are open to the media.

Booths for television and radio companies, Stand-up Positions and parking for mobile satellite stations are provided free of charge. To reserve television and radio booths, Stand-up Positions or parking for mobile satellite stations, go to the Host Broadcaster's zone in the Broadcasting Pavilion.

FOR TELEVISION NETWORKS

Video signals will be available in the following formats:

• HD/SDI 1080i/50 with embedded audio

• SD/SDI 625/50 16:9 with embedded audio

• SD/SDI 625/50 4:3 with embedded audio

TV companies can broadcast in other formats using converters.

TV booths are equipped with:

• Four 220V grounded AC power outlets with a total capacity of 3kW;

• One telephone line with an RJ11 outlet, a direct-dial number, with long-distance and international access;

• One analogue touch-tone telephone set;

• One ISDN line (EURO ISDN, S/T interface) with an RJ45 outlet, a direct-dial number, with long-distance and international access;

• Two local area network outlets (RJ 45) for high-speed internet access;

• Two BNC video cables for carrying an international signal;

• One video cable for delivering the news programme's TV signal (high frequency) to an LCD television set The video cable connector fits the supplied LCD television set;

• One 15-inch LCD television set for displaying the internal TV network stream;

• 3 chairs, 2 tables, 1 coat rack, 2 wastebaskets and a bookcase.

FOR RADIO STATIONS

Radio booths are equipped with:

• Four 220V grounded AC power outlets with a total capacity of 3kW;

• Two telephone lines with an RJ11 outlet, a direct-dial number, with long-distance and international access;

• One analogue touch-tone telephone set;

• Two ISDN lines (EURO ISDN, S/T interface) with direct-dial numbers;

• Two local area network outlets (RJ 45) for high-speed internet access;

• Two BNC video cables for carrying an international signal;

• Two XLR audio cables for receiving additional audio signals;

• One 15-inch LCD television set for displaying the internal TV network stream;

• 2 chairs, 1 table, 1 coat rack, a wastebasket and a bookcase.

 

STAND-UP POSITIONS

The following Stand-up Positions will be available at the International Media Centre:

• 10 positions facing the BRICS and SCO summit venues;

• 2 position inside the Media Pavilion.

STAND-UP BOOTHS EQUIPMENT

A stand-up booth measures 2x4m, ceiling height 2 5m and is equipped with:

• A desk and two chairs;

• Power outlets (2 kW for equipment and 3kW for lighting equipment);

• Two telephone lines with an RJ11 outlet, with long-distance and international access;

• One analogue touch-tone telephone set;

• A local area network outlet (RJ 45) for high-speed Internet access;

• A channel for broadcasting the signal to the mobile satellite station.

Available on request:

• A four-wire circuit line for interference resistant broadcasts;

• Return audio signal (MIX-);

• International broadcast channel;

• Return video signal input.

MOBILE SATELLITE STATIONS

Mobile satellite stations can be parked within walking distance of the Broadcasting Pavilion.
