Russian and Kazakh presidents to meet during SCO and BRICS summits

President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan will hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the upcoming SCO and BRICS summits in Ufa. According to the Kremlin's press service, the presidents scheduled the meeting during a telephone conversation on 6 July.

They also discussed current issues of Russian-Kazakh strategic cooperation, the strengthening of Eurasian integration and other international issues.
Mr Putin also warmly wished the Kazakh leader a happy 75th birthday.
