President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation has arrived in the city of Ufa, the capital of Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan, where he will take part in the BRICS and SCO summits on 8-10 July.

Vladimir Putin will be the host of the two summits as the head of the state currently holding the BRICS and SCO presidencies. He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of other participating countries on the sidelines of the summits.
